She cried today...

Yep.  "The Woman" who works for me here at Our Mother's Keepers, she cried today.  Now, I've seen her cry a few times out of frustration when someone says mean things to her because she won't pay to have their 30 barn cats "fixed" or take them all to be re-homed (I've been to The Woman's house, and there is barely room for the 10 cats who live there now!!),and I've seen her cry a lot from sadness because she can't rescue every homeless cat she's asked to help (She fundraises ALL the time and sometimes STILL doesn't make enough money to cover the Vet bill of some of the cats she's rescued!!), and I didn't think she'd EVER stop crying when her special-needs rescue cat, Ivy, died (Now that I think about it, she sometimes cries over Ivy even now!!), but I rarely see her cry because of happiness, like she did today.  Sure, there have been a few times when I've seen "The Woman" cry out of joy: when someone makes a large donation to her rescue cats, when somebody buys a lot of fundraiser items, when someone donates items for her to sell for the homeless cats she rescues, or when someone simply tells her they appreciate what she does for homeless cats.  Today, however, several people made donations: someone donated fundraiser items; someone else donated food, blankets, and even laundry detergent ("The Woman" washes a LOT of cat blankets, especially when she rescues sick cats, and she's had a few of those lately!!); and some other people put money in the fundraiser jar.  I think "The Woman" was overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people...and she cried.

Don't tell her (She'll get an inflated ego, and then I won't be able to do a THING with her!!), but I really love "The Woman"...
